Andis® UltraEdge™ clipper blades are made from high-carbon steel and processed through a unique carborizing heat treatment that actually adds carbon to the metal. More carbon on the metal means a harder cutting surface. Blades hold a razor sharp edge that will endure prolonged use and more sharpening treatments.
Each Andis UltraEdge Blade is sharpened to exact quality standards and is hand-tested before it is shipped. Blades have a Rockwell Hardness rating of 65. Fit Andis®, Conair®, Oster®, and Wahl® detachable-style clippers.
Size 30 Blade has a 1/50" blade cut (.5 mm). Blade is often used on the face and feet of a brown or black poodle, and on schnauzer ears. It can also be used with a clip-on comb when attempting to remove excess body coat. Use on a longer coat for a hand-scissored look.
